Come and join me for a relaxing and creative sessions of printmaking . My pop up studio is in Mudeford Dorset. From the Maberly Room within Stanpit Village Hall you will enjoy amazing and views of the harbour and the marsh to inspire your creativity. This workshop is aimed at those that have had a go before or completed my beginners session, however it is not essential.
At my ‘Jigsaw’ workshop you will learn the following…
A refresher of the basic process of lino printing, designing and carving
How to design a single colour Lino Print
How to use the carving tools/ mark making
How to create your design into Jigsaw ready for multi colour printing
How to print using a spoon/ baren and a table press to create a multi colour Lino print
You will produce a two frameable copies of your design to take home and enjoy,
I will provide a selection of achievable design ideas to choose from which can be copied or traced or used as a guide to develop.
The price includes all materials needed, hot drinks and cakes.
